Techweise steam cleaners are known for their many accessories. But which accessory do you use for what? We're happy to explain below:

• (floor nozzle): Ideal for cleaning hard floors (tiles, laminate) in combination with the microfibre cloths.
  
• White furniture accessory/anti-scratch cloth: Suitable for cleaning fabric or scratch-sensitive surfaces such as sofas, induction hob, extractor hood etc.
  
• Black nylon brushes: For scrubbing and cleaning stubborn dirt on small surfaces, grout, taps etc. The different materials are suitable for various surfaces (e.g. brass for stubborn dirt on the BBQ and nylon for softer surfaces).
  
• Green scouring pad: For surfaces you would normally clean with a scouring pad. For example the sink, the drain, the tiles etc.
  
• Jet nozzle: Creates a concentrated jet of steam for cleaning small gaps, corners, grout and hard-to-reach places.
  
• Window squeegee: For streak-free cleaning of windows, mirrors, tiles and other smooth surfaces. The steam loosens the dirt, and the rubber strip removes it.
  
• Carpet glider: For refreshing and disinfecting the carpet. Click it onto the mop head together with the microfibre cloth to steam the carpet.
  

1. Use a small brush. Click it onto the jet nozzle (see manual).

2. Then scrub back and forth over the surface to be cleaned.

There are several ways to clean the windows. Below you'll find two effective methods:

1. Click the triangular brush and the white cloth onto the gun.

2. Then clean the entire window with the white cloth.

3. Next, click the window squeegee onto the gun.
Please note: while squeegeeing, use no steam. Otherwise the window stays wet.

Hold the squeegee at a slight angle to the window instead of perfectly straight. This prevents streaks. Now wipe the entire window dry.

Still getting streaks? Then don't use the squeegee but a dry microfibre cloth to dry the window.

1. First attach the extension pole to the gun. Then attach the triangular brush to the extension pole.

Once the triangular brush is attached, it is important to steam briefly first before wrapping the white microfibre cloth around the triangular brush, so that the excess water is removed from the machine first and the white cloth does not get too wet.

2. Always test the steaming on an inconspicuous spot first, then move slowly back and forth over the surface to be cleaned.

The hot steam of 100 degrees °C kills all bacteria. Also, don't steam one spot for too long, but keep moving constantly. Your mattress is now completely cleaned and bacteria-free!

You can use the steam cleaner to clean various types of sofas, but it is important to take the material of the sofa into account. Here are some guidelines:

Suitable for steam cleaning (always check this yourself in your sofa's manual):

1. Fabric sofas
2. Microfibre sofas

Not suitable or be careful with:

1. Leather and suede sofas
2. Velvet sofas
3. Wooden or metal parts

Tips for safe use:

• First of all: Always try the steam cleaner on an inconspicuous part of the sofa first to see how the material reacts.
• Drying time: Make sure the sofa can dry properly after cleaning to prevent mould.
• Accessories: Use the right attachments (triangular brush and white anti-scratch cloth) and keep the steam cleaner moving to prevent the fabric from getting too wet.

Suitable for steam cleaning:

1. Synthetic carpets
2. Short-pile or flat-woven carpets
3. Stain-resistant carpets
4. Short-pile or flat-woven carpets

Carpets with a low pile can be cleaned more easily with steam because the moisture does not penetrate as deeply into the fibres.

Stain-resistant carpets

Carpets with a special coating or impregnation for stain protection are generally suitable, but check the manufacturer's recommendations.

Loose dirt can be removed with water and washing-up liquid. To disinfect the brushes, place them in boiling water for 5 minutes. This kills bacteria. The anti-scratch cloth and the mop pads can be washed at 60 degrees.

No, steam and silicone seals are not a match. The high steam pressure removes the sealant. Always try to clean silicone seals with a soft cloth.
