One word of care: never steam the same spot for too long. Make sure the floor is properly sealed and free of cracks. If in doubt, check the flooring manufacturer's guidance first.

Does the floor stay wet?

No, not if you follow one simple step. Before you start steaming, always spray the excess water away first, pointing away from you. Skip it and that water ends up in the cloth, which does leave the floor wet. Follow it and your floor stays dry while you steam.

Who is the TS1 steam cleaner for?

The TS1 is the ideal entry-level model: the perfect first steam cleaner for the whole house, with 26 accessories for more than 100 surfaces. Plenty of power to shift grease, dirt and limescale in a few seconds.

How much pressure and power does the TS1 have?

The TS1 runs at 1500 W with a steam pressure of 3.6 bar.

Does the floor get wet after mopping?

No. Techweise steam cleaners use dry steam. One thing to note: if the steam cleaner has sat unused for a few minutes, a little condensation builds up. Spray that excess water off first, always into the sink. Skip that step and the water ends up in your cloth, and then the floor does get wet.

How long can I steam continuously with the TS1?

Around 40 minutes on one full 1500 ml tank, with no topping up in between.

Can I refill the TS1 while I'm cleaning?

No. You fill the TS1 before you start and then steam for around 40 minutes on one tank. If you want to refill while you clean, go for the TS3 Edge or the TS Compact handheld steam cleaner.

How long does the TS1 take to heat up?

Allow around 8 to 10 minutes for the TS1 to get up to steam.

Which accessories come with the TS1?

26 accessories: a 10-piece brush set, a grout brush, a floor nozzle with carpet glider, 2 microfibre floor cloths, a triangle brush, an upholstery attachment, a jet nozzle, a scouring pad, a window squeegee, 3 extension tubes, a measuring jug with funnel, a drying cloth and ear plugs. Enough to clean more than 100 surfaces.

Do I need to add cleaning product to the water reservoir?

No. Steam on its own is enough, and cleaning products can damage the internal pipes and boiler. Tap water is fine; in hard water areas we recommend distilled water to prevent limescale.

What is the difference between the TS1 and TS2 steam cleaner?

With 1800 W and 4 bar, the TS2 is more powerful than the TS1 (1500 W, 3.6 bar). The TS2 steams for 50 minutes on one tank, against 40 minutes for the TS1. The TS2 also has an LED light that tells you when the water is up to temperature (the TS1 doesn't), a refreshed design and built-in storage for the accessories. Both come with the same 26 accessories.

Can I try the steam cleaner at home first?

Yes. You have 14 days to try the steam cleaner at home. The accessories may be used, but the steam cleaner itself must come back undamaged.

How many years' guarantee does a Techweise steam cleaner come with?

Every Techweise steam cleaner comes with a 2-year guarantee against defects, on top of your statutory rights. If something breaks, we're happy to sort it out.
