You can steam tiled floors, parquet, laminate, concrete floors, lino and poured resin floors. One word of care: never steam the same spot for too long, and make sure the floor is properly sealed with no cracks or open seams. If in doubt, check the flooring manufacturer's guidance first.

No, not if you follow one simple step. Before you start steaming, spray the excess water away first, pointing away from you. Skip it and that water ends up in the cloth, which does leave the floor wet. Follow it and the floor stays dry while you steam.

The floor dries streak-free in 30 to 60 seconds. The TS1 and TS2 use dry steam. The TS3 Edge also lets you switch between wet and dry: dry steam for floors, wet steam to loosen stubborn dirt in grout and bathroom fittings.

The TS3 Edge (€259.95) is the most powerful of the lot: 2600 W, 4.2 bar, ready in 1 minute, topped up while you clean for as much steam time as you need, and switchable between wet and dry steam. Comes with 24 accessories.

With 1800 W and 4 bar, the TS2 is more powerful than the TS1 (1500 W, 3.6 bar). The TS2 steams for 50 minutes on one tank, against 40 minutes for the TS1. The TS2 also has an LED light that tells you when the water is up to temperature (the TS1 doesn't), a refreshed design and built-in storage for the accessories. Both come with the same 26 accessories.

The TS3 Edge is more powerful and more efficient than the TS2. With 2600 W and 4.2 bar of steam pressure it delivers more cleaning power than the TS2 (1800 W, 4 bar). The TS3 is up to temperature in 1 minute, where the TS2 needs 8 to 10 minutes. You can also top the TS3 up while you clean, so the steam never runs out, and switch between wet and dry steam. The TS3 comes with 26 accessories and the TS2 with 26 accessories.

No. Steam on its own is enough, and cleaning products can damage the internal pipes and boiler. Tap water is fine; in hard water areas we recommend distilled water to prevent limescale.

Yes, for disinfecting and freshening up. Steam at 100 °C or more kills 99.99% of bacteria and dust mites, which helps if anyone in the house has allergies. On a sofa, always test an out-of-sight patch first. Do bear in mind that a steam cleaner doesn't remove stains and doesn't pick up dirt.

Yes, every accessory is available on its own and in value bundles. It's worth ordering a few spares, because the small brushes need replacing over time. If something is faulty, we'll always sort it out.

Yes. You have 14 days to try the steam cleaner at home. The accessories may be used, but the steam cleaner itself must come back undamaged.
